    Unbound. Condition: Good. None (illustrator). Very scarce work containing simple instructions for knitting spun silk socks and stockings by Miss E. Ryder. With simple directions to teach oneself. A very scarce copy found in three institutional libraries only, including the British Library. Dated via Jisc.Complete with four cards housed in the original publisher's cloth envelope. Each cards features instruction for different stockings, 'lady's knitted ribbed spun silk stocking,' 'gentleman's knitted ribbed spun silk sock', stocking for a child from four to six years of age,' and 'gentleman's knitted spun silk sock.'Advertising sheet to rear. Enclosed in the original publisher's cloth envelope with titles to paper card to front. Unbound as issued. Externally with shelf wear, cloth slightly lifted to extremities. Damp mark to rear envelope. Pages lightly age toned, as usual with the type of paper used. Good. book.
