A solid set with only minor rubbing to extremities. The Rt. Hon. John Wynne of Haslewood's coat of arms inlaid inside covers. The Wynne family crest displays three wolves' heads on a shield. With the Wynne's motto "Non sibi sed toti" - "not for oneself but for all." John Wynne (1801-1865) was a noted Irish landlord and conservative MP of Sligo during the time of the Irish famine.
