A very clean & neat copy with no annotations or inscriptions and only extremely slight shelf wear to spine tips. Overall a Near Fine book in Fine slipcase. Based on the 1914 edition with Kay Nielsen's illustrations, Asbjornsen & Moe's collection of 15 Norwegian folk tales was first published in English, translated by Sir George Dasent, in 1859.
