The book traces the fortunes of the staff and pupils of Maitland Girls' High School from its opening at The Manse in 1884, through its years at Grossman House, to its present location at Cumbertand Sreet, East Maitland. Compiled by Mrs. M. Eichholzer, this is a fascinating history enlivened by personal reminiscences of past staff and Old Girls. Tucked inside the front cover are many ephemera pieces relating to the Maitland Girls' High School Old Girls Union Centenary Dinner and get together. **The name of the previous owner is written inside the front cover.
