In-8° grande (256x168mm), 217, (2), bella brossura editoriale color crema con titolo in rosso bordato da motivi floreali stilizzati in policromia a entrelacs di gusto squisitamente tardo-Liberty. Numerose illustrazioni di Marie-Ève Marthin intercalate n.t., incise su legno da Gilbert Poilliot e colorate a mano da Edmond Vairel.…Le testatine e i fregi tipografici floreali, anch'essi di deliziosa e tardiva impronta Art Nouveau, sono egualmente incisi in silografia a colori dal Poilliot su invenzione della Marthin. Edizione a fogli sciolti, conservata entro camicia editoriale cartonata ed astuccio pure esso in cartone. Interno frscissimo minimi difetti al filo del dorso della camicia e all'astuccio ma più che buon esemplare Raffinata riedizione d'amatore tirata a soli 1050 esemplari complessivi (n° 396 della tiratura di 900 su vélin de Rives), realizzata sotto la direzione di Edmond Vairel, di questo antico testo di medicina di Raoul du Mont Vert (o Montverd) edito originariamente a Parigi nel 1538 (cfr. Wellcome, I, 1946; Durling, 1314-1316; Brunet, III, 1874; Cioranescu, 16101). Lessico medico-farmacologico in fine.
