Moore (1901-47), American operatic singer, chiefly in lyric soprano roles; notable also for a few film appearances ('A Lady's Morals', 1930 (played Jenny Lind); 'One Night of Love', 1934; 'I'll Take Romance', 1937; etc); died tragically in an airplane accident.Few B/w illustrations; Advertising Matter.

The postcard has actually been used, with a Danish stamp depicting Hans Christian Andersen and dated 23 may 1936. With a printed text recommending the lastest Grace Moore movie (The King Steps Out). * Grace Moore was a Hollywood star and singer and did musicals in the early age of the talking pictures. Unfortunately she died in a plane crash in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1947.
