Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. Thick octavo. [1], xiv, [1], 640 pages (Part I), [2], 263 pages, [1]. Frontispiece portrait of Lord Amherst. Illustrated. Brown cloth hardcover with City seal on the front cover and title on the spine. Floral end sheets. Cloth binding has light shelf wear. Hinges are in good condition. The text block is a bit uneven pages 200-250. Visibile thin cracks in the gutters in this section. No loose or detached pages. Contents very clean.
