    Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. Published in conjunction with the Harbor Springs, Michigan Centennial in 1981, this book contains essays by eight local historians on a variety of topics such as Homesteading, Logging, Architecture, Churches, etc. Each essay is fully illustrated with captions. Contains a bibliography in the rear. Original brown cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine and cover lettering and illustrated end papers. There is a previous owner's name and 1981 date with a "Harbor Springs Centennial .) at the top edge of the half title page, else This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. It does not appear to have been published with a dust jacket. It seems that the book was reprinted in 1986--this is the uncommon first printing. ; B&W Photos, Illustrations & Maps; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 108 pages.
