Black dust jacket lettered white orange and pink. ISBN: 0575032874 Typed signed letter loosely inserted from Dyan Sheldon to Malcolm Bradbury, 14 Heigham Grove, Norwich, Norfolk written on headed notepaper from Arrow Books Limited, Geographia Limited, Robert Nicholson Publications Limited, Head Office 17-21 Conway Street London W1P 6JD dated 9th September 1983 and consisting of about 200 words in which she says that this book was one of the winners of the first novel award last year and that it will be published in paperback by Arena in the spring. It has been rather neglected and so she hopes if Bradbury has time to read it and enjoys it he could supply a quote which could go on the front. Her hunch is that the author 'actually shows great promise and stands a good chance of being a very good novelist one of these days.' Sir Malcolm Bradbury (1932 Ğ 2000) was a British novelist ('The History Man'), academic and writer on English and American literature. Angus Wilson and Malcolm Bradbury co-founded the Creative Writing MA at the University of East Anglia in 1970. Clare Morgan is an author, academic and literary critic who directs the Master of Studies in Creative Writing at Oxford University and established the Kellogg College Centre for Creative Writing. Dyan Sheldon an American who lives in London is a successful author of children and young adult books including 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen'. A very good copy. Very good indeed in very good indeed dust jacket.
