No Jacket. 4th Impression, wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, corners bumped and worn, boards showing, edges worn and boards showing, top and bottom of spine bumped and worn, small rip at base of spine join with back cover 1.5cm, surface of covers a little grubby and worn, internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear but yellowing and some light foxing to the edges of the first and last few pages.

1937 6th impression with numerous B&W illustrations; tightly bound in blue cloth with white lettering to front and spine; spine corners worn and fraying, especially top front; fore-edge corners a little bumped. Page fore-edges yellowed and palely foxed. Internally, a few discolouration marks scattered throughout; gift inscription on front paste-down; otherwise, a good, tidy copy. Used - Good. Good hardback (no dust jacket).
