A special copy with laid in is a hand drawn survey of the property "Barn Field" belonging to Wm. Howe Nance (1779-1837) drawn by his son Clement W Nance. The land is in Rural Vale Tn, with a documnt dated 1826 signed by Wm H Nance as Justice of the Peace to settle a debt. Also with a letter (3 pages) from Josiah W Nance to his cousin James C Snead (Nov 30 1856) sharing news of the family. Nance was killed at Bells Landing (1864 (page 295). A unique copy.
