First edition. First edition. Quarto. Signed by the author. Pictorial boards, viii, 188 [3] pp., double column, preface, illustrated, appendix, notes, bibliography, index. The author makes a case for saying that the Three Guardsmen of Oklahoma and E.D. Nix were not always accurate with their information, and at times it was impossible to have done some of the deeds they claimed because it was a physical impossibility to have been in two places at the same time. The Three Guardsmen of Oklahoma were Chris Madsen, Heck Thomas, and Bill Tilghman. The author says that western historian, Robert K. DeArment encouraged that this book needed to have been written. As new, unread copy.
