In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. No dust jacket. 8vo. Green cloth covers, gilt stamp in centre of front cover, gilt lettering on spine. Covers unclean with stains, rubbed with bumped corners. The covers are cracked at the hinges and backstrip is torn in various places. Front board of on both volumes detached. Loose pages in both volumes. Foxing. Volume 2 is split down the middle. Fold out-map at the end of volume 2 with foxing. There are a total of four books in the set. These are volumes 1 and 2.
