Hardcover. Condition: Very good. 461p; plates. A blue cloth hardcover book in very good condition. Spine slightly faded; touch of wear at the bottom. Binding slightly cockeyed, but still tight. Emblem on front cover is lightly rubbed. Previous owner's bookplate inside front cover; otherwise clean. Study of Helmuth von Moltke (the elder) and his contribution to military science. Text in German; type is older Gothic font.
