Vinyl, 45 rpm. A fine copy, clean and unblemished. Housed in a plain paper sleeve. Scarce 7-inch featuring two tracks from "Natay, Navajo Singer" (1951), which is thought to be the first album by a Native American recorded for commercial release. The first artist signed to Canyon Records, Natay lent his resonant voice to a variety of Navajo, Hopi, Kiowa, Tewa, Zuni, and Pueblo songs. He preformed throughout the Southwest, and participated in singing tours sponsored by the Santa Fe Railroad.
