The Productions of Dr. Nathaniel Rowell on Various Subjects, in Rhyme and Prose

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The verse and prose of Dr. Rowell were written and arranged before his death, but were not published until his son proceeded with the author's original plan. This volume also includes a memoir that his son also wrote. There is some light foxing to some of the pages, and the second front free end paper has a small piece at the fore edge missing. The book remains solidly bound and there are no loose or missing pages. The boards are marbled paper with a leather spine cover. The leather is scuffed, worn, soiled, and shows some wear at the ends. The boards show through on the bumped corners and the edges are darkened. There also appears to be a watermark along the outer edge. This volume is in Very Good minus, or Good Plus condition.
