Red cloth spine, pictorial front board shows girl whispering in boy's ear. First story is "Peace With Honour" by Geraldine Glasgow. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations (including one Wain cat plate accompanying a verse called "All Afloat" by Clifton Bingham. Reprint, no date. Minimal bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Contents lightly browned with some foxing and an odd mark. One hinge cracked. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Although hardcover, unusually staple binding has been used (does not show externally as is hidden by cloth spine) Some pages loose but generally the book is in clean condition. Various colour plates and similar cover plate.Undated but pre-WWI judging by the boys' sailor outfits etc.

Six chromolithograph plates, packed full of b/w text illustraitons. First story 'Our pantomime' by L.L. Weedon Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges scuffed and rubbed. Some scratches to boards. Covers generally grubby. Joints and some hinges cracked. Frontis is partially detached at the top and has a small tear. One plate is detached but present. Another two plates are partially detached. Erased inscription to box on front pastedown. Endpapers and page edges are browned. Some foxing and fingering. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Six stunning three-dimensional stand-up scenes. Large oblong format. Green cloth spine, colour pictorial paper boards. Front cover shows the Babes in the Wood riding on a leaf in the air harnessed to a pair of robins. Green/white floral endpapers. Spine has been rebacked with red cloth. Corners and cover edges are worn. There is some scuffing to the covers. Front free-endpaper is missing. Inscription in ink to top margin of title-page. One page has a large closed tear which has been neatly repaired. From the pop-up scenes there are some flowers missing at the top of the fairy's oar (in the swan picture) and the giant is missing from behind Jack (in the Jack and the Giant picture) otherwise the pop-ups are complete, bright and in excellent working order. The text pages are well fingered and thus a little grubby. A decent copy of a scarce pop-up book. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
