Presumed first edition (single date upon copyright page). Hardcover; H 17.75cm x L 10.25cm. No dust jacket and lacking the cardstock envelope with which it was issued. White boards heavily soiled but with gilt lettering and decoration upon front board still bright. Toning to book's six French-fold leaves with strongest toning to endpapers; old store price sticker at top right corner of front free endpaper. Green and blue floral decorations on title page and each text leaf with headpiece initial letters in gilt. A good+ copy of an uncommon early 20th century gift book.
