Brown cloth over bevelled boards, gilt titles and decorations to spine and front, with black-stamped decorations as well, and blind-stamped decorations to back. All edges gilt. Chromolithographed plate as second free endpaper ('Nimmo's Elegant Gift Books'), engraved title page as well as text-only titlr page. Poems and porse by various authors, many famous (eg Burns), each with an acompanying line engraving in text or plate. Good condition, Covers very good, bright and clean part from a few tiny marks; Front free endpaper (blank yellow) has been removed, and the coloured plate that follows is detached (present).
