Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for F/O name on the front pastedown and scattered pencil notations. Book Condition: Near Fine; scant shelfwear to the head, tail, and tips; small paint spot on the spine. No DJ. Blue grained buckram boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 287 pp 8vo. The authors discovered that there were few books on the market which contained material for bridal and baby showers. To help the hostess in planning, samples of invitations, directions for making party decorations, suggestions for refreshments, and many games and contests are included; all of which can be altered to fit the needs of the hostess. Sections are included on superstitions, customs, traditions, etiquette, and a question and answer forum on wedding customs. A list of suggested baby names is included. A clean very presentable copy.
