"i registered a walk by taking photographs every seventh step. It is not only a literal walk. i follow a route through my head and my heart, in colours like those used by man in ancient times to represent their surroundings. i have made this project by arranging these pictures one after the other. It creates, as it were, a film of stills with moments-in-between. these empty moments represent the lost memories and the invisible time. It is a walk that I keep making and which connects me with the walk from the beginning of time. the steps: the step as measure of living, looking, experiencing. the cadence that sounds through the brain and creates a freeing movement that opens the door to the unnameable, a place where time is not present, and only the being of completeness exists. in the begin of time: in the beginning of time, when thought created the world, arose stories without words formed from feelings, like lines from the past to now. they created a planet out of the immense solar-system with the use of 7 directions: north, south, east, west, above, beneath, and within: a place where intuition and spirituality are the liberating forces."
