Bound in red cloth with lettering in gilt on spine. Mapped end-papers. Fold-out genealogy table. Square, tight and generally clean throughout with little or no wear. Some errant spotting to the prelims but no interior toning. Small, neat ownership signature and date on the front end-paper. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (21 s. net) has some gentle surface rubbing and a pen mark on the top of the front flap. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. Signed by the editor on the title page. A very pretty collectable copy of an uncommon title on this side of the Atlantic, especially signed.
