DUST JACKET: Jacket has a lot of chips and rips and the front flap is missing, detached at the crease. BOOK CONDITION: Some spotting along the foredge that doesn't penetrate the interior and overall the book is otherwise clean. Play to the interior rear hinge but text block is tight. Maps are all present although not attached where index indicates and they are apparently a cheaper paper and show foxing. DESCRIPTION: Inscription on the first free end paper and signed by the publisher Joshua Simon and dated 1954.
