Add to basket12mo, (143mm), xxvi,(27-)288p. Several instances of slight spotting at the front and end of the text block, otherwise a fair to good copy in contemporary half calf, marbled paper sides, joints slightly rubbed, the corner tips a tad more so. Gilt lettered in a red leather lettering piece: 'Goldsmith Works', and below in blind within a star tooled the number '4'. A previous owners' signature of Abernethy, Newark on Trent vertically near the gutter of the title page. The phrase 'printed for and sold by' at the end of the imprint does rather suggest this is an Edinburgh printing with the London publishers taking precedence for their own, doubtless dubious, reasons. Only the British Library copy of this edition and imprint is located on Library Hub.
