Erste und wohl einzige Auflage dieses monumentalen Werkes der Orthopädie, hrsg. von dem bekannten Kinderchirurgen und Orthopäden Louis Ombrédanne (1871-1956) und P. Mathieu der durch die Bemühungen von Ombrédanne den ersten Lehrstuhl der Orthopädie der Pariser Fakultät erhielt. M.Lance, G. Huc und P. Padovani waren bei der Redaktion der von über 60 verschiedenen Autoren gefertigten Beiträgen behilflich.
