This book of 100 full-page cartoons gives a humorous look at the women of the Army Nurse Corps from basic training to their graduation and after. The author and artist, Robert "Snuffy" O'Neil served with the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colorado and in Italy during World War II. After the war he spent time in Aspen where he became known for his ski cartoons. A very good copy with some light marking to the spine. The text is very good with some light tanning to the endsheets and an ink owner's name at front. The jacket is good with some chipping to the spine tips and top rear panel and some spotting and foxing to the rear panel. …
