Issued by the Socialist Labor Party, this pamphlet argues that reformers can't overhaul education within a capitalist framework. College professors serve the capitalist and war-making class, according to the author, Aaron M. Orange. Soviet schools also come under attack because of "Stalinist corruption."Orange was a New York City public school teacher as well as the SLP's candidate for Vice President in the 1940 presidential election. CONDITION: Some soiling and edge wear, small stain on page 35. Overall, a Very Good copy.
