Containing such popular tales as Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Grethel, the Twelve Dancing Princesses, Snow White and Rose Red, the Golden Goose, and the Elves and the Shoemaker. Not dated - thought to be circa mid 1930s.In good original publisher's pictorial cloth, featuring bearded man ad tree and black titles. "The Clevedon Community Co-operative Bookshop Bindery Team" have rebound and recovered this copy. It is now tight and flat and the original image is clean. The Team have also replaced the end papers with new multi-coloured swirl patterned papers. The text block has colour plates by Monro S. Orr and in good condition. The pages are quite worn, but tightly bound and even. The Prelims, last few text pages and some pages throughout are lightly foxed, the cut edges are marked and slightly tanned. No dedications etc. Good condition. Without jacket.
