Hardcover. 59p., first edition 8x5 inch oilcloth boards cover-titled gilt, ownership signature on front pastedown and signed by the poet on blank preceding half-title; mild toning to text-stock, boards are edgeworn with small losses at head and tail that expose the headbands, a good-only copy. Ryan was a member of the bohemian Ravens Circle Poets around Washington Square/Greenwich Village in the 1930s-40s. Her poetry is biting and humorous, Parker-ish. Joe Gould is the best-known member.
