Collects the poetry of Grady Louis McMurtry, OTO Caliph from 1971-1985, preceded by two forewords by Frater Achad Osher 583 (J. Edward Cornelius), "New Forward" and the much longer "The Warrior-Troubador: The Life and Times of Grady Louis McMurtry", plus 26pp. exhaustive appendix to McMurtry's poems at rear. Spine is uncreased, binding tight and sturdy; front cover curled, some creasing at fore-edge, where prior owner placed clear tape; very mild wrinkling to end pages; text very good throughout. Scarce. [11p] 5.5x8.5 inches, foreword, very good chapbook in stapled yellow wraps. Posthumous publication of the final poem by McMurtry in his 11 poem cycle. McMurtry was a WWII and Korean War veteran who met with Aleister Crowley in England and became his personal student and, after Crowley's death, became a leader of the O.T.O. He died in 1985. Only a single holding located in OCLC as of 6/2025.
