Incl some ephemera re "Shamrock" - one of the competitors, and incl. bookplate of (Dr.) Henry Shannon who helped crew "Shamrock" in the 30's - and includes a chronology of the vessel, in his hand - 4 yachts competed in this "Rudder Cup" won b…y Thistle. Ellida had to return to Queenscliff, but the other 2 (Shamrock and Rambler) completed the race. Henry Shannon owned The Shamrock in the 1930's (cutting re this included). Excessively rare.
