The glorious campaigns of the famous Turkish warrior Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663 in Paris 1736 in Vienna) as well as the 1st Duke of Marlborough John Churchill (1650 in Ashe 1722 in Devonshire) and Johann Wilhelm Friso (1687 in Dessau 1711 near Moerdijk) are shown in the Turkish campaigns and in the War of the Spanish Succession. In the Peace of Rijswijk, Mons was returned to Spain. In the War of the Spanish Succession (1701 - 1714), Mons once again fell into the hands of the French.
