Condition: Very good condition. Victorian chromolithograph advertising scraps, to be used as a window display, of Pantaloon and Clown. Pantaloon, who harks back to the Venetian character from commedia dell'arte is shown as a foolish old man with white hair and beard wearing pantaloons; he accosts Clown who wears a top emblazoned… with the British flag, his pockets stuffed with beer and sausages. 9 3/4 x 7" sheet.
