This is followed by another bookplate pasted to the front free end paper and entirely in a beautiful calligraphic hand: "Presented to Arthur V. Strock in Appreciation for his service as Chairman of the Board of Governors Bower's Museum June 22, 1993". Both book plates have a few scattered pale foxings that are not obtrusive. All edges gilt.
