Color plates; at back of book is a pocket containing game titled Right Royal Duet consisting of 9 cards in a stiff paper cover. Given sufficient time, one could probably figure out how the game is played, but since I'm well into my 8th decade,…I have better things to do. Condition: the binding is soiled with minor rubbing and bumped corners; the book block is a bit loose in the binding; there are inked markings on two of the game cards; else condition is good. Pages: vi, 97.

First edition, presumed. A note on the packet: it contains: an enclosure titled "Right Royal Duet"; four games on five sheets: "List of Secret…Signs (Game I)" on two sheets; "A Colorful Piece (Game II)"; "The Battle Front (Game III); "Magic Game"; a sheet of music paginated as 50; an ownership/diploma sheet paginated as 84; two identical sheets of time-signatures (?) in 9 rectangles per. I mention all this as I've no idea whether this is the complete packet. The book is VG: dust-soiling and light staining to the cloth; corners lightly to moderately bumped; title-plate rubbed without significant loss; top edge lightly soiled; solid if not tight hinges & joints; clean text and illustrations with light toning to the pages; very small dampstain touching the head of the last two leaves; gift inscription to the front endpapers (Uriel Benjamin to Warren (?)); packet itself is soundly affixed to the rear pastedown; contents are clean and presentable with a touch of the dampstain touching a few edges. Despite all this, quite presentable.
