Inside hinge off volume one is cracked but still firmly attached. Inside front and back covers, ffep's, bfep's and text are slightly yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Illustrated with 69 reproductions from photographs and numerous maps. Starts in volume one with Pershing receiving a telegram indicating he is to go to France. Concludes with the Armistice.
