The paper is Original Gmund Vergé. With 491 numbered pages. At the base of the title page, "Bildrausch macht sich bescheiden breit." Replete with color and B&W illustrations and drawings as well as color and B/W photo-plates, mostly full-page. Mediums include: gouache on paper, ink on paper, charcoal on paper, wax crayon on paper, felt pen on paper, and photographs. Over the course of six decades Pfeiffer has made photographs, paintings, drawings, videos and collages, and has had numerous exhibitions to showcase the artist's approach to capturing life's pleasures, poetics and oddities in images. From still lifes to landscapes to portraits, Pfeiffer's style oscillates between graceful naturalism and playful self-awareness. Walter Pfeiffer ist als Fotograf mittlerweile weltberühmt.
