Februar 1889 in Wien) war ein österreichischer Schriftsteller und Journalist, der auch als Dramatiker des Alt-Wiener Volkstheaters in Erscheinung trat. Josef Pfundheller schloss sich bereits früh der Katholischen Literaturbewegung in Österreich an und betätigte sich ab 1840 journalistisch bei verschiedenen größeren Wiener Zeitungen, wie bspw. dem Österreichischen Morgenblatt. Ab 1872 arbeitete er als Redakteur bei der Wiener Gemeinde-Zeitung und 1886/87 war er Herausgeber und Chefredakteur des Österreichischen Reichsboten. Seit 1848 erschienen von Pfundheller Buchausgaben seiner literarischen Werke, die sich oft auf historische Themen bezogen. Außerdem verfasste er als Theaterdichter mehrere Bühnenstücke. 8°. 49 SS. Br. mit Rückenfalz (Rückenfalz mit Läsuren). Severin von Jaroszynski (1789 - 1827 Wien) war ein polnischer Adliger, der wegen Raubmordes an Johann Conrad Blank hingerichtet wurde. Bis zu seinem dreizehnten Lebensjahr lebte er im Elternhaus, dann etwa fünf Jahre in einem Warschauer Pensionat und kam mit etwa 18 Jahren nach Wien, wo ihn die renommierte Bildungsstätte Pleban weitere viereinhalb Jahre aufnahm. Seine Lehrstunden erhielt er auf seinem Zimmer unter anderem durch die Professoren Conrad Blank (Mathematik) und Johann Schindler (Malerei). Severin kehrte mit etwa 23 Jahren nach Hause zurück. Im Juni 1826 kam er wieder nach Wien, angeblich um die Bäder in Baden bei Wien zu besuchen. Tatsächlich setzte er sein verschwenderisches Leben fort, legte sich einen falschen Grafentitel zu und verschaffte sich mit kostspieligen Einladungen Zutritt zu der Wiener Gesellschaft. Als Blank seinem ehemaligen Schüler am 13. Februar 1827 aus seinem Depot mit acht fünfprozentigen Obligationen im Wert von 6100 Gulden Nominalwert wertvollere Dokumente zeigte, zog dieser ein Küchenmesser und ermordete ihn mit mehreren Hieben und Stichen.- Papier angestaubt, gebräunt und stockfleckig.
