Hardcover. Condition: Fine. First edition. Signed and dated 2.7.2013 by artist on free front endpaper. Oblong Quarto. 254 (2)pp. Original photo-illustrated dustjacket over black clothe with mounted photograph on cover and silver lettering on spine. Silver endpapers. Illustrated half-title and title page. Known for his staged photographic movement, a photographic direction of the early 1980s, Nicosia's conceptual fabrications ranged from elaborate sets with live actors to dioramas and abstract constructions. Nic Nicosia is the first major publication of the artist's work and covers his entire oeuvre through 2011. The catalog presents images from all of Nicosia's major photographic series and an essay by Michelle White, an interview by Sue Graze and short fiction by Philipp Meyer.
