La rencontre a été orchestrée à l occasion du festival de Cannes en mai 1981 ce qui a donné lieu à ce cliché unique de deux acteurs rayonnant de joie se laissant à déguster un bon verre accompagné de cigares à la sortie d un repas mémorable en bonne compagnie au Moulin de Mougins. Image : 45 x 31,2 cm Feuille : 55 x 40 cm Pedro Rodríguez de la Vega nait en 1940 au Mexique. Il meurt en 1971, à seulement 31 ans, au volant de sa Ferrari 512 M à l'occasion d'une manche du championnat Interserie sur le tracé du Norisring à Nuremberg en Allemagne. Grand espoir mexicain, il commence par gagner les 24 Heures du Mans au volant d'une Ferrari en 1958. Par la suite, il accède à la Formule 1 à seulement 19 ans en tant que pilote officiel de la Scuderia Ferrari. Il remporte son premier circuit, le Grand Prix d'Afrique du Sud, en 1967 et en 1970, obtient un second succès, au Grand Prix de Belgique. Philippe Ledru né en 1942, photographe français. Après avoir travaillé pour l UNESCO, il décide de devenir photographe professionnel et part en reportage en Afrique du Sud, Angola et Mozambique. Il intègre l agence Sygma au début des années 70. Il part saisir les évènements en Indonésie et au Cambodge. Dans les années 80, il couvre régulièrement les festivals du cinéma à Cannes et Deauville.
