Presents a detailed and scathing critique of all aspects fo the Russain system. In this set, original 1861 paperbound copies have set in handsome white cloth bindings with leather labels on the spines and linen endpapers. 616 pages combined in the two volumes. French text. The cloth bindings are in Fine condition, interior pages have some foxing. Original front covers in place but back covers not retained with new binding. The original front cover of vol. 2 is a bit soiled and has a couple lines of vintage newsprint pasted at top that refer to the explosive nature of the material.…
