Im Juli wurden sie und 250 andere Juden ausgetauscht und nach Palästina geschickt. Das Buch von den 'Sternkindern' berichtet in 64 kurzen Abschnitten Einzelschicksale, Geschichten von Kindern, die auf ihren Jacken und Mänteln einen gelben Stern tragen müssen, weil sie älter als 6 Jahre sind und Juden.
