Blanchard, et Cie Libraires, Éditeurs pour l'Éducation, et chez Rosa, Relieur-Libraire, Paris, 1810, frontispice, 2 ff., 298 pp. Rare exemplaire de reliure dite "vermiculée", dont les plats ont été estampés à froid selon un curieux motif filigrané et labyrinthique. Cette reliure est attribuable au relieur parisien Rosa, "relieur-libraire" à Paris (au 15 rue de Bussy selon Fléty), dont le nom est ici également mentionné en page de titre (alors qu'il est généralement absent sur les autres exemplaires). Frédéric-Guillaume Rosa, relieur et également éditeur d'almanachs, est connu pour avoir produit de ces reliures vermiculées, dont il partageait le motif avec le grand relieur Bozérian. Les vermiculures sont réalisées par le travail d'une roulette de 12 mm de large répétée dans le sens de la largeur. Datée de 1810, cet ouvrage correspond aux tout débuts connus de ces reliures "vermiculées" ; les vermiculures sont d'ailleurs ici simplement estampées à froid et non dorées. La présente anthologie réunit les travaux de plus de 80 auteurs, dont Baour-Lormian, Pons de Verdun, Philipon de la Madelaine, Constance de Salm, etc. Bon exemplaire en rare reliure vermiculée (très petits frott., rares rouss.).
