A Good copy of a "First Day Of Issue" of a 5 cent stamp to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of John Ringling. Stamp is red, blue & flesh color with an illustration of Johann Ludwig Jacob, star clown of Ringling Bros Barnum Bailey Circus. Scott #1309. Wear to envelope along the top edging and corners. Smudging to front of envelope. Creasing to back of envelope. Stamp has a cancellation from Delavan, Wisconsin. There is an address in blue ballpoint on the front of the envelope and the flap of the envelope has been folded inside. To keep the envelope's shape, an index card is inside the envelope.
