Illus. dust jacket shows irregular tear across most of lower front panel w/ associated approx. 1 1/2" x 1" irregular area of loss along bottom front edge, clipped bottom front flap corner, otherwise only slight shelf wear and virtually without any of the usual tanning, now in archival mylar. 36 pp. (text) + (47) full page plates, most color, reproducing all of the watercolors that Gauguin produced for the project, printed on rectos only (versos blank). Undated, with postscript (original to this edition) dated 1961 Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Book.
