Hardcover without dust jacket, undated (but c1940s), 60 pages, plus black-and-white illustrations;---text in Dutch;---beige/grey covers with author/title in a red panel on front cover, gently used, tiny corner bumps, shelf wear and chipping along age darkened spine (with title still clear in red letters), several pale faded old splatter drop stains to front cover, light to moderate foxing to back endpapers and several adjacent pages, attractive bookplate (designed by previous Dutch-Canadian owner) inside front cover, his usual tiny ink numeral inside back cover, text pages clean and unmarked.
