Green cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and black, frontis engraving, 276 pages plus publisher's ads. Covers rubbed and scuffed with additional rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, front free endpaper removed, pages uniformly lightly age-toned but clean, no names or other markings. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Boston: D. Lothrop & Co., 1872. First edition, title page dated 1872. Delightful Stories for the Little Ones series. Bright green textured cloth with color illustration mounted on the front, frontis engraving, other full page engravings in the text, 52 pages plus publisher's ads. Some light edgewear and a bit of fraying to the lower part of the outer edge of the front cover, good hinges, sound text block, pages clean with a few instances of light smudges to margins, gift notation in pencil on front free endpaper, no other markings. Hard Cover. Very Good. 24mo - 5" - 5¾" Tall.
