    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. The author was born of English emigrants in Kansas who migrated to Grant County, OK around the turn of the 20th century. He grew up near the town of Jefferson, became a rhubarb farmer and raised chickens. These are his memories of growing up a living in Grant County, Oklahoma. Green cloth-covered boards; black titling with covered wagon and horses on front cover; Boards are clean with minimal wear; text is clean with many old photos of churches, stores, schools, farms, and people; Binding is tight but warped a little from leaning irregularly on the shelf.
