Le Conte, who has provided as well a multi-foldout sketch map of that route. Other articles include "With the Sierra Club in the Kern Canon (sic)" (Marion R. Parsons), Down the Kern-Kaweah (George P. Putnam), and "An August Outing in the Upper Merced Canon (sic)" (S.L. Foster.
