Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. First edition. Slim small octavo. Illustrated in color throughout. Tiny inked note on front cover and a small stamp and inked note on the lower wrap, staples a bit oxidized, near fine in stapled self-wrappers. A charming bestiary of unusual animals, including a bat, platypus, flying fish, dolphin, and kiwi. Two copies in *OCLC* (Princeton, a Virginia library).

Unbound. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Nicely illustrated in color throughout. Slim small octavo. Staples removed and notches in the spine from being bound in to a nonce volume, otherwise bright and very near fine with a bit of toning and soil at the edges of the wrappers. Features nice animal illustrations.
